Aquarium Signature - Our Services

The guarantee provided by Aquarium Signature consists in ensuring the customer whom his/her aquarium will be protected from the manufacturing defects, for one one year period, within the framework of a normal use. For example, if it occurs a water leakage, whether a joint takes off or that a wall breaks, Aquarium Signature commits itself repairing the aquarium without expenses for one one year period following the date of purchase and/or the date of delivery.
In more, Aquarium Signature will recommend to the customer, so that he/she includes the aquarium in his/her insurance policy: in an aiming of prevention in the event of some damage which would be caused by water.

This service consists of a paid visit once per month to carry out the maintenance of the aquarium, such: cleaning of the gravel; cleaning of the decorations and the plants; cleaning of the external and interior walls; cleaning of the filterer; partial water change; checking and correction (if needed) for the PH; checking of the fishes general health. If the fishes seem sicks (ex: ick, fongus, etc) they will be treated without over expenses, at the time of the intervention.
Note: the monthly maintenance service does not include the call for a service: who consists in a visit done between the monthly maintenances, when it occurs a problem with the aquarium. In this case, additional expenses apply.

Keeping a regular maintenance schedule (ex: monthly) is not only beneficial: but essential for the looks and health of your aquarium. It is probably the most important element in aquarium success for several reasons, like: removes wastes; stabilizes pH; minimizes stress; increases redox potential; keep chemical levels in check; maximizes vitality and health; water stays clean and clear; avoid detritus/algae buildup; keeps aquarium looking great.
Waste removal, i.e changing a part of the water, will remove potentially toxic elements from the aquarium environment. So ammonia, nitrite, nitrates and other complex organic molecules are removed and replaced with toxic-free water.
Stabilizing pH, i.e waste removal allows the buffering capacity of the aquarium water to stabilize the pH, and fluctuations are kept minimal.
Minimizing stress, i.e. when there are less chemical and physical dramatic fluctuations in the aquarium, the specimens tend to stay much healthier; and sometimes even spawn.
Increased redox (Oxidation-Reduction Reactions) potential, i.e. regular maintenance increases the livability of the aquarium water for the long-term. Redox potential is a basic measure of the water's ability to cleanse itself. Regular aquarium care increases the redox (oxidation-reduction) level by keeping fresh toxic-free water in the aquarium.
Keep chemical levels in check, i.e. over-dosing medications or additives is common; so water changes can avoid potential die-off's due to poisoning or over-exposure of additives.
Maximizes vitality and health, i.e. a healthy environment keeps healthy fishes and aquatic specimens.
Water stays clean and clear, i.e. avoiding nitrate buildup and changing the mechanical and chemical filters, keep the water clear and void of yellow discoloration.
Avoid detritus & algae buildup, i.e. regular maintenance removes the physical waste products (scum, excrements, food surplus, etc); and allows the water to cleanse itself more efficiently.
Keeps aquarium looking great, i.e. the physical environment simply looks cleaner, as it's inhabitants will stay healthier.
